The food was fantastic! The atmosphere is very comfortable, warm, and welcoming. The servers and manager were very helpful and kind. We are not local, but were visiting in Springfield and found this restaurant that sounded like it would be good. We were definitely correct! We will be back if we are this way again. Thank you all for a great dining experience and very filling, yummy food!

Dropped in for lunch with a friend. We both got the Cubano. Our meal was great. We loved the fries. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. I will definitely be back to try their dinner menu. Would definitely recommend.

Lunch at La Habana Vieja was delicious! The lunchtime menu is not huge but certainly adequate. The Cubana was a perfect blend of roasted pork, cheese, onions, mustard and housemade pickles on toasted bread. The smash burger comes with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion and an egg. It was juicy and flavorful. Both meals are served with "house fries" which were nicely seasoned and served with a homemade ketchup that was slightly sweet. You can opt for plantain chips, as well. The flan was perfectly cooked and the syrup had a deeper flavor than what I've had before. The staff was friendly, service was fast. The atmosphere is clean and has old world charm with framed scenes throughout.

Went yesterday and tried an array of foods. For appetizers we had the chicharrones (huge portion, perfect crisp, flavorful sauce. Highly recommend), ceviche (good amount of seafood, good flavor. Could use a little more lime for me but I’ve only had Mexican ceviche so it’s possible that Cuban ceviche is less tangy. Recommend), the empanadas (not bad but did not stand out), and grilled shrimp (perfectly cooked with a slight char and nice creamy sauce, recommend). For my meal I got the enchilado de camerones and it was very good. Big potion with lots of large, perfectly cooked shrimp in a nice soup like base with the plantain chips drizzled in a honey type sauce. Other friends had the ox tail, pork belly, ropa m, and everyone enjoyed their meal. There is ample parking, restaurant is clean, and restaurants staff are nice and attentive. Food comes out a little staggered but overall not a huge wait.

Just came back from Havana and trust me when I say it’s like being right back there. The food was delicious, the service warm and friendly, and the music was perfect. The top burka and pork belly were really good, and you must get dessert!

Really delicious meal with unique flavors! I'm so glad our friend suggested it for lunch. It was relatively quiet (in noise and business), and I had never noticed it before since the commercial side looks so small. I want to take my husband so he can try it sometime!

This place is an absolute hidden gem! The food tastes AMAZING and the staff and atmosphere are great as well. I ordered the Pollo Asado dinner entree (Roasted Jerk Chicken) and enjoyed it so much I was craving it again by the next day! Everything on the plate was seasoned to perfection and tasted amazing. This is for sure one of my new fav restaurants in Springfield!

Food was awesome, staff super helpful in explaining to us newbies everything we had questions about. Made great recommendations on both food and wine. Only drawback was slightly too loud music background, esp for some that are hard of hearing. We had a little trouble with conversation because we didn't want to talk to loud. We will definitely come back next time we come to town!
